Rongxin Peng premieres an orchestral work with the New York International Symphony Orchestra at the Carnegie Hall on Friday night, the first time a young Chinese composer has presented his work on this much-respected stage. The concert, themed Hidden Melody, was a great success, with the 3,000-seat Stern Auditorium, the largest at the Carnegie Hall, fully packed.
